Sandra MacKenzie is a lawyer based in Yellowknife. Her practise focuses on labour and employment, human rights, and children protection advocacy. She practises law in both the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. She is engaged in the community, and is the past-president of the NWT Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. She first came north in 2007 as a law student, and returned in 2011 to make Yellowknife home. She has been on the Stanton Territorial Hospital Foundation Board for approximately 18 months, and she enthusiastic and excited about the role that the Foundation will play as the new hospital is built. Sandra is a avid cross country skier and she loves to spend time outside. She has a young family, and her toddler Ella was born at Stanton.
